pk2drx
Introduction
With the program view, peaks can
be harvested in a set of images. The impact positions of these
peaks are independent of the detector position, but the resulting
c-vectors are not.
An unknown detector position can cause a failure
of the indexing process.
pk2drx is a program to
convert peaks from a
pkfile to a
drxfile while applying a detector
shift. The resulting drx file can be used by
dirax to determine possible
unit cells.
The program detdirax can be used
to search unitcells in a grid of detector positions.
How it works
- get the offsets of the detector (distance, horizontal
and vertical),
- read a pkfile, and calculate the c-vectors from the
impact positions and new detectorposition
- create a drxfile with the c-vectors
Invocation
pk2drx
pkfilename
distance-offset
horizontal-offset
vertical-offset
drxfilename
If drxfilename equals axis, 4 drx files will be created with different goniostat settings:
| prefixh+ |
horax |
1 1 1 |
| prefixh- |
horax |
-1 -1 -1 |
| prefixv+ |
euler |
1 1 1 |
| prefixv- |
euler |
-1 -1 -1 |
Run multidirax to run dirax on the
4 drx files, and determine the best solution.
